Opel Combo
Together with the Peugeot Partner and Citroën Berlingo, the new Opel Combo has been voted International Van of the Year 2019 by a jury of European trade journalists. Indeed, it offers many advantages, such as a loading capacity of up to 4.4 cubic metres and a loading length of up to 3.44 metres. It is even large enough to transport two euro pallets. There is also a longer version, measuring 4.75 metres, for those requiring a little more space. With this Combo XL, Opel will also showpiece a concept with a double cabin and fixed dividing wall at the Motor Show.
MAN TGE
MAN describes the TGE as ‘the truck of the delivery vans’. After all, as the Volkswagen Crafter’s baby brother, this vehicle is truly spacious. You can fit a maximum of 18.4 cubic metres into the loading compartment, depending on the roof (normal, high or extra high). The vertical dividing wall, extra loading space under the cabin floor, wide sliding door and LED lighting in the loading area make things more convenient. Up to eighteen driving assistance systems ensure that the TGE arrives safely and is easily parked.
Renault Master
The Master is a known name in the segment of larger delivery vans. Since its launch in 2010, it has won the hearts of 475,000 customers across Europe. It’s no coincidence that Renault is the European market leader when it comes to delivery vans and delivery estate vehicles. The Master comes in numerous configurations (including, for example, a double cabin), allowing every professional to find their perfect variant. The low loading threshold and doors that open wide (270 degrees) make loading easier. In addition to the familiar diesel version, Renault is also presenting the electric Z.E. at the show, which is ideal for urban use.
Ford Transit Custom
Between the Transit Connect and Transit 2T, you will find the Transit Custom with a short (2.93 metre) or long (3.30 metre) wheelbase. Look beneath the bonnet and discover 2.0 EcoBlue TDCi diesel engines with 105, 130 or 170 HP. The Transit Custom stands out for its technology. Intelligent Speed Assist automatically adapts the chosen speed limit to the relevant roads signs. The SYNC 3-multimedia system can be used to operate your telephone, music and navigation via the touchscreen or voice commands. At the Motor Show you will also discover a number of new variants of the Transit Custom, including a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a camper van (the Nugget, in partnership with Westfalia).
Peugeot Partner
While the Partner’s passenger car model is now known as Rifter, the delivery van has retained its trusted name, Partner. The Partner has been completely renewed and equipped with the most hi-tech gadgets which are sure to delight professionals. For example, the overload indicator will issue a warning if the maximum authorised load is exceeded. Surround Rear Vision with blind-spot cameras and a screen (replacing the rear view mirror) also improves visibility all around the vehicle. Also handy: the new Partner comes in two different lengths (4.40 and 4.75 metres).
